Crank sensor?
I was told that the crank sensor on my car is the reason that my check engine light is on. How hard is it to replace is the part really expensive? Is replacing it something that should be professionally done. I'm kinda new to this so if its too complicated then I don't wanna mess with my DD. Thanks
if you have Check Engine Light and the ECU is giving code 4, which is the crank sensor, it usually means you have a bad distributor - the crank sensor is in the distributor and usually it isn't the sensor itself that is bad, but rather it is distributor bearings worn out allowing shaft to move resulting in one part of the sensor contacting the other
