ok so i have a 89 civic 4 door. i got this car in shambles and completly gutted with only 2 crx seats in it anyways i have got almost everthing working in it again and have put the right seats and some of the interor back in someone tube chassied the front end and i dont know if it messed anything up but my dash light dont work every other light and thing on the car works so far with the exception of the back up light beacuse i figure out last night the car used to be an automatic so i have to re run the wireing to the tranny anyways if anyone knows where to start looking to fix this let me know i hate not seeing my gages at night

Bad connection?
Did you check for the above problems?

 

check the dimmer switch

 

Good idea, never thought of that because my car is missing that switch! Going to try it tomarrow thanks

x2, the lights dont work without the dimmer switch
