Default tired of neons blowin me away, what can i do to my engine?

ok, im runnin a stock d15b7 with 140,000 miles and grandmas are passin me up. i have heard of doin a mini me but not sure what exactly is involved. i want to do a swap but dont really have the money, delivering pizza barely pays the bills...anyway, just wanting some ideas. cams, heads, im....whatever any info, maybe even a small turbo, but ive never messed with turbos dont know anything about them. i know i sound like a total noob, truth is i am. tryin to save up and get back into auto tech class
oh, and when did neons become tuner cars?...i hate neons more than anything

a "mini-me" conversion is putting a civic ex d16 vtec head onto a nonvtec d15 block. oh, and do yourself a big favor. don't waste money on trying to make a nonturbo d15 fast. if you want to go faster (i said 'go', not 'look'), either drop in a better engine, or go turbo. you have lots to learn, oh noobish one. if you really want a faster car, stay here, search, read, and learn. it's the only way.

one more thing. we're all dicks. get over it and learn.

Ain't that the truth.

I would say search. It's all up to you in the end. how much are you looking to spend. I would say go B series, but those bleeding heart D series wimps will start cussing me out. Face it there is no replacement for displacement!

Go down to the local tuning/speed shop/dyno and hang out and listen to everyone and take it all in.
You'll quickly realize everything is expensive and speed is really expensive.
Honestly you wanna learn the most about your car take the whole friggen thing apart and put it back together.
I took a junk civic and transfered everything to another civic and I feel like I Could put one together with 10 tools in the dark.
Good luck
P.S. I drive a civic and i am fine with how slow it is, because remember its still a ****** Civic

i would say just turbo. you'll probably end up blowing the motor though. my cousin blew his first d15 motor in a week. lol the 2nd motor did a lot better though. if you want, you can always just move up to a d16 first
