Default My ramhorn, need some opinions?

Well here is my ramhorn that I bought off a member on this site really cheap. Needs to be finished being welded up. The welds that the previous guy did are not that bad, but the new ones will be alot better.

Anyway, he didnt weld the flange on, just tacked it in. My question is should I cut the tack welds off and fix it so they fit better, or will it not matter really? I have yet to pull my b18 header off to see the shape/size of the exhaust port, but will welding it as is right now hurt flow at all?

thats weird....did he get bored half way through and sell it half finished?

yes dont try to use that thing like that! if i was at the shop i'd take a picture of how my full race manifold is....its a night and day differnce. those things arnt close to fitting and will flow horrible compared to how it should be.

u know what you need to do, dont be lazy

its not that far off.
the pipes could use a little squeeze on the end to get them oval.

and for the 2nd runner. it looks like you have some room to fix that error.

close that pink gap and it will be closer.

yeah, actually i never even saw that gap until you pointed it out. The manifold arrived to me a few hours ago and i didnt really study it that much. Looking at the manifold that gap pictured is actually pretty damn big.
Ill bring it into my work tomorrow, and hopefully what i leave with by the end of the week will be much better.
As for the manifold, not sure if he got bored or what, all i know is i got it cheap so i cant complain!

my only concern now kinda is that runner you pictured, its actually welded about 70-80% around...

Actually no I never got around to it, i kinda quit that job and no longer have access to a tig welder, and im deffinatly not going to MIG it.

Anyone interested in finishing this up for me as well as a DP? If so PLEASE PM or email me (prefer) a_integra_87@yahoo.com what you will charge. Someone help a fellow H-t'er out.
