Default best motor?

im going to do a complete build this year of a 92 civic si. bone stock. im planning on doing a full motor swap, upgrade suspension, get rid of the rust possibly re paint it to white? or maybe red its currently black i hate the fact a little dirt gets on it, it shows. i know what im going to do with all that but the motor is what i cant decide on. should i go b18c1-turbo (of course after fully building the motor) or run an h22. money really isnt important to me on how much i spend.

I'd go with the B series motor. Local guy was running a boosted H22 and he said it was such a hassle to get parts for when something broke. He said it had too much low-end torque and he was always stuck waiting for parts when he needed them.

With the B series he can have the stuff there by that evening or the next afternoon.

this link is pretty helpful: https://honda-tech.com/zerothread?id=878010

since budget is not an issue, the next step would be trying to figure out what are you expecting out of the motor swap... are you putting a daily, show or race car or all of the above... fully built b18c1 w/ turbo sounds like a drag race car and is way off from just the h22 thought. Good luck!

on residential streets, highways, drag track, road race course, canyons ???

if you're just doing straight line racing, use nawz.

id prefer not to use nawz due to the fact that would make it a F&F car. but yes straight line

If money's no object, then just build a Dart block motor with a 92mm crank.
