Default Running ITR cams in a b16

I just came across a set of ITR cams for cheap because my teacher is having skunk2 stage 1 cams put in his type r, and he offered to sell me his old cams. Of course im itching to slap it in and go have it dyno tuned, but i want to know if theres anything im overlooking...

Heres my setup, i have a b16a2 bone stock internals with a hondata chipped p28. The motor has about 80k on it, and nothing in the head has been changed. Basically my program is set pretty aggressive, no rev limiter although i dont really take it past 8000. vtec engagement is currently set at the stock Si spec, will i need to change it to be more like the ITR once the cams are in?

As i understand it, the lobes on the ITR cams are more aggressive than my Si cams, I was just wondering will i have to change anything else in the valvetrain? If so i am gonna hold off a little while. I dont want to run the risk of harming my head.

you do not have to change out your stock valvetrain if you are keeping the stock revlimiter.
If you want to rev it higher, it is advisable to upgrade the valvesprings. It is quite easy to float valves with stock valvetrain when reving higher then stock

correct, dont take it past stock redline, and no worries.

you will need to change your tuning a little though to get the full affect from the ITR cams. like a ITR base map or something.
