Default Will stock ITR cams flow enough for 2.0L engine?

Looking to bore a b18c block, will the itr head flow enough? or should I get new cams? PPl say use itr cams for 1.8L because of the midrange, and I love midrange, but is this still true for a 2.0L?

Dont know for sure, but I know if you have money to get your block resleeved, you can afford some better cams, like Skunk2 Stage Deuce.

right, I agree, but I just dont want to loose any midrange...the point of my boring the block is so that I dont have to rev to 9k to get the power.

Then get cams designed for midrange power.

your itr cams will work fine. it will flow good regardless. your just increasing the displacement, however the use of bigger cams will give you more hp. ive built 85mm bore b18c's and they run great on type r cams. we even did one on a stock head and cams. it it still pulled . its all in how you set it up. and how its tuned. these motors are still out on the street now. after very hard abuse 9500 rpms weekly for over a year. still runs hard today.

thanx for the reply guys, I guess my main question is, will I gain midrange 3-6k rpm w/ aftermarket cams on a 2.0L?

My friend's CRVTEC has a CTR IN cam and a GSR EX, with a Portflow GSR head, RC 310's, SK2 IN manifold, B20B w/ 84.25mm JE 12.0:1 slugs, stock rods, ARP rod bolts, Bogart Pro4's w/ M&H Racemaster 22x9.5x13 slicks, ITR ECU and VAFC w/o ever being tuned on the dyno (only on the street by feel) in his full interior EK he ran a best of a 12.62@107.... We're gonna be swapping Toda B's in soon but I wanna get it on the dyno to see what kinda power it's making with the CTR IN cam first... Latez

YEah, I just finished comparing some dynos I found, and looks like the itr/ctr cams are slightly better up until about 8000rpm. I think ill stick w/ the stock cams since I rarely use the power up there anyway during normal daily driving.
