Im gonna doa lil tune up to my b18c5 this week.. iwas wondering wats a better product the NGK platinum spark plug or the ngk Iridium?? I am all motor w/ a few mods.. wats better for performance n better quality??

Depends as what you define as better. Platinum and iridium are not really better. They just last longer...but are also more expensive. I just use their copper V-power and am very happy. I just change them more often then I would a platinum.

Oh, you can search on spark plugs and find about 100 threads containing 5000 opinions on the matter. Very few concrete facts though.

If money is no object, get the NGK laser plat.

If you want to save some money, and still want a long lasting plug, get the NGK Iridium IX. (Use a wire gap tool and alot of patience to get the right gap)

If you enjoy replacing spark plugs often, get the V-power plugs.

Just my opinion after talking with NGK tech support.
