iI JUST SWAPED MY 89 STD OVER TO A 95 D15Z1 VTEC-E I BOUGHT IT FROM A FRIEND I DROVE THE ENGINE BEFORE I BOUGHT IT, BECAUSE IT WAS IN A FRIENDS 91 SI. BUT I SWAPED EVERYTHING PERFECT AND THE ENGINE STARTS BUT IT WILL NOT REVV UP IM THINKING IT'S SOMETHING WITH THE WIRING DOES ANYONE KNO WHAT COULD BE THE PROBLEM ON WHY IT'S NOT REVVIN

CAN SOME ONE THROW ME SOME IDEAS ON WHAT CENSORS THAT COULD BE UN PLUGGED OR VACCUM LINES, ALSO WE CHECKED THE TIMING AND MY INTAKE MANIFOLD IS SUCKING WIND GOOD AND MY HEADERS ARE THROWING OUT GOOD WIND AND EVERY THING IT'S NOT EVEN SMOKING; IT'S JUST NOT REVVIN

 

Throttle cable?

If it's not that, does it just bog out when you try to rev?

 

most you yell?? there any specific reason you are writing in caps?? do you think that its going to get you help any faster?

i think some more details would definetely help us aid you in fixing the problem. just simply stating that its not reving could be serveral things. what are the characteristics?

 

yea i checked the throttle and its okay, but when i rev it, it just goes to like 3,000 rpm and then it acts as if it want's to turn off then it just idles fine. Would the distributer not allow it to rev if it is not wired right. I checked all the wires and injectors are spraying and everything. I checked the computer in my friends obd0 Integra and it revs fine. What censors would make it not rev.

 

TPS? Did you switch the wies on the tps sensor? there are three wires on the tps sensor. switch the outer two wires with each other.

 

alright man i'll check that on thursday when i go try to finish my swap.
