upgraded valvetrain

Default upgraded valvetrain

is it neccessary to upgrade my valvetrain if im going to put in aftermarket cam gears

only if you get aftermarket camshafts
like stage 2 and up
There is not point using cam gears on stock camshafts.

so id have to buy a new camshaft to even feel a difference with the upgraded cam gears

Yes.

They don't really do anything on a stock head. They're colorful and shiny sometimes though.

if your just upgrading to like a stage 2 then you should be fine. your problaly not running crazy hp so youll be ok
