Help with my B16 Crank pulley
So does anyone have any ideas on how to get a crank pulley bolt out? I have tried an impact gun a breaker bar and nothing. Is the bolt left-hand tread or right-hand? Any ideas pleas just want to replace the water pump.
get a chain wrench that will fit around the crank pulley. then jack the car up high enough for the chain wrench to hit the ground and hold the pulley. then put a bar on the breaker bar you should have on the bolt and jump on it! j/k about the jumping but sometimes its necessary. it also helps to have the mount already disconnected to the engine can sag alittle, dont forget to hold the engine where you want w/a jack!

i do it the ghetto way, i just hold the brakes, put punches in the rotors, and put the car in first
or i pin the flywheel.
