Default is it okay for a car to sit for 2 weeks w/out starting? Oil change 3k miles?

I have a 92 DA and and DB8.

The DB8 is garaged and is hardly driven since i drive the DA more for running erands.

Is it okay for a car to sit for 2 weeks w/out starting.

Should the oil be changed every 3 months even its doesn't reach 3000 miles?

Why not? i let my car sit over the winter

The oil doesnt need to be changed but before you drive it, that when you should change it if it was stored for a long period of time

2 weeks is fine..just make sure you warm up your car before you drive around. Change your oil after 3k miles (or whenever it starts getting dirty)....not every 3 months.

also it's a good idea to keep your gas tank full to minimize condensation while it sits for long periods of time

depends on the miles too...

I have 170k and let my DB7 sit for a week while on vacation and came back to a completely dead battery, flat tire and some seals dried out so my water pump started leaking, oil started leaking from the valve cover/cam seals...ugh...i think i'm fine now though =/

Thats not good to hear. I might as well drive my DB8 once a week then so no seals will get dried up.

A car will not end up that bad after only sitting a week. I left my car sitting outside my parents' house on the driveway for 17 days when I was in Europe last summer. Came home and it started right up no problem.

I, however, would not let the oil sit longer than 3 months. I'm guessing you probably don't put over 5K miles per year on the car? Would you really want to drive it on some oil that's been in the crankcase for nearly a year?

it should be fun, fill up the gas tank, they sell a product that you put in the gas, i would clean it up that way it doesn't smell moldy later..
