First time racing at 1/4 mile track what should i do when i get there to prep?
its my first time at the track and i would like to know if I should be doing anything in particular to get ready once im there?
1. Change your oil and check your fluids the night before
2. Don't rape your car on the way to the track
3. Put your heat VENT on, I usually only leave it at 1 when I'm running
4. Remember staging etiquette
Anyone want to add anything? I think the ice on the intake manifold, etc. is pushing it

Helps remove heat from your engine bay
No prob - check this link out:

Just make sure you remain pre-staged until the other car is pre-staged. You can fully stage after the other car is pre-staged. Just staging courtesy.

You serious? So if you turn on the heater at 1, it will help your car run better?
don't expect to knock off half a second or anything, it's just one of those things you do to help out. im sure if your motor could talk he'd appreciate you taking some heat out of there

make sure you put your springs in the right place so that your car doesnt look like an off roader(front wheels higher than back from what i remember when hearing bout your car last time)
