Default side moldings are fading!

You guys got anytips for fading sidemoldings? My hatch is black and the moldings look white on the car, sucks. I tried that back to black **** but it doesnt work, is there a rubbing compound like shoe polish but industrial for plastic? What do you guys use, I dont really want to paint them over but if i have to I will.

any tips? Thanks.

Does anyone have a link to the thread with the painted mouldings? I used to have it bookmarked, but lost it.

That duplicolour trim paint works wonders. Makes your cars mouldings look like new again!

I recomend taking the strips off the car if your able, coz patching it up so you dont get paint on your bodywork can be painful.

or you could try armor all. It makes old rubber/plastic look new. Unfortunately it fades away after a couple weeks of daily driving. Cheap easy and quick fix.
