opinion needed within ~ FLAT BLACK PAINT ~ ???
about 2 years ago my buddy ordered these z3 fenders but not the ones u think.. these z3 fenders r the top quality ones with the lines on angle on the top. not the cheap ones that alot of u have from wat i saw in accord gallery.. these cost him 300$ off ebay too.. now he will give them to me for 150$ even tho i dont really want them but these z3s r diffrent and they actualy do look nice. second thing is they r good fiberglass and my current fenderes have abit of rust and lots of scratchs. now i dont have enough money for a new paintjob just yet but i do wanna get these fenders before he sells them to someone else so i was thnking just to get a flat black paint on them while my car is glossy black. then repaint my whole car later on but u guys think flat black paint on accords will be nice or shittY ?
will look shitty. so many people around here do that, and it looks absolutely horrible.
personally, i hate anything but OEM fenders. with that said, i would suggest picking up some OEM replacements and then just install them whenever you have the money to paint them.

flat paint sucks! unless you are going totally vintage on a 1940's domestic, stick to gloss. If you are that determined to get these things, go for it and put 'em on. I think the contrast will bug you to go ahead and paint the whole thing. In my opinion, the BEST paint jobs look like colored glass or a colored mirror.
Take 'em if you want or if you liked 'em so much, theeeenn.... get 'em painted (professionally) and have 'em installed.

i duno like i said the z3 fenders my buddy has r very diffrent from most i c.. and the lines r right on the angel next to the hood it can help alot to release heat.. the lines on most fenders r all the way down in the middle no heat even goes there..
wait wait wait... Z3 fenders do nothing to release heat from the engine or anywhere for that matter. Maybe you should remove one of your fenders and take a look whats behind there.
To me, Z3 fenders are Z3 fenders no matter where the cutouts are located or who made them. Just because your friend paid $300 doesn't make them better than someone elses.
Also, please don't call them "fender flares" because you sorta lost me at first when you said that. They aren't fender flares.
I'm all for doing what you like to your car, but I would stay away from those. I haven't seen to many aftermarket fenders that fit that well. A neighbor had a Del Sol that he had a body kit and Z3 fenders, those fenders looked like ***. They didn't line up good with the door, nor did they line up with the "A" piller at all.
I personally feel Z3 fenders take away from the Accord's body lines. Z3 fenders should stay on BMW Z3's.
I would just take that $150 you have, may need a little more I don't know, take off you stock fenders and have any dents removed and repainted.

Just get those fenders then... It's obvious you want them, there's no need to be asking people's opinion and then trying to convince them that "these fenders are not like most." Just do what you want and like. But just have it be known that nobody likes them but you.
