Having trouble Removing Knuckle

Default Having trouble Removing Knuckle

Im tryin to take m knuckle off so i can bring into a shop to change my bearing. But the lower ball joint doesnt want to slide out. I would tap the screw wit a hameer but i dont want squish it and ruin the threads. any sugestions?

spray it with wd40on the bolt, put a peice of wood on the underside of the lower arm and tap it up with with a hammer

but wouldnt it ssquish it too? since that hole is there for the cotter pin i know i willl squish it.

there is a trick 2 it if u put a piece in where... depending on the side pretend ur on the right side lookin at it to the right there is tiny gap put sumthing that fits in there and the leverage from the knuckle pushing the lower arm when lowering would pop out????worked for me when it was stuck

Honestly, the best way to detach the ball joint/Knuckle...get a huge friggen hammer, and SMASH the hell out of the front of the LCA. The shock will eventually pop it loose in like 5 hits.

Ask any Honda Technician, he'll tell you the same thing.
