OBD1 dist to OBD2b engine harness question
Hi guys,
i want to fit an OBD1 dist to a OBD2b engine harness...now i searched around there is no such conversion harness (the one i found was the vice versa version to what i wanted)...anyway i found this while searchin here:
OBD2B to OBD1:
YEL/GRN=YEL/GRN
BLU= BLU/GRN
GRN=ORN/BLU
YEL=ORN
BLK/YEL=BLK/YEL (On the obd1 2 wire plug)
WHT= BLU/YEL
RED=WHT/BLU
BLK=WHT
now all wires on the OBD2b engine harness i have are matching above and the problem i cant match two wires on the dist side.....if u notice where its bold above...thats where am stuck....there two wires left on my dist that are light blue and light blue with either yellow or green....now i need someone to tell me where the blu/grn and blue/yel position on this diagram that i quickly made

thanks in advance,
Kamal

the colors that look like a faded yellow/tan are ORANGE and ORNG/BLU. itll confuse you . just follow the colors on that list you initially posted.
you can re pin it to a 0BD-2 plug. or you can just cut the plug off a obd2 with the wires still connected and solder it on to the dizzy.

yep but only the obd2 plug that was initially in the car . I did it on a 2000 civic ex and took the plug from the d series dist (the rectangular one with only 8 wires) made it plug and play

yea, i used the D series male pug . you can do either or. It just made it easier for me this way . In your case you would prob need to repin your engine harness plug using an obd2b female plug, I had extra pins and plugs so i was able to rewire the blk/yel wire to use a small pin instead of that large one. I repinned all but 2 of the wires on my friends civic. ill try and get you a pic of it so you can see it exactly how it goes.
