i tried launching i didnt take it to high rpms maybe 3 grand on a sohc right when i dumped the clutch my 1st gear popped out and i had an almost new axle snap with a piece in the tranny does anyone kno the cause of this? i got a stage 1 exedy and a 7lb fidanza flywheel and also my 3rd and my 5th grinds going into gear and ive changed the tranny oil twice holla at me

 

your tranny is done for. Dig it a grave and let it rest. Start looking for a new one.

 

Correct me if I am wrong but wouldnt the cause be bad synchro's?

 

more likely that when shifting, but for launching or any instant torque change would be bearings. I bet you they are all destroyed. You could also check your mounts but tranny defently needs to go.

 

the tranny has less than 300 miles on ive only drove the car with the tranny on for like maybe a week its a rebuilt one from a transmission shop and what sucks is that they voided my warranty because of the fidanza flywheel

 

there is you problem. You bought a rebuilt tranny from a shitty shop. Prolly paid arm and a leg for it. Your tranny is toast either way buy a used one from honda-tech for like $200.

BTW when you let off the gas does your shifter move alot or anything like that?

 

a d series tranny is cheap.. look at your local classifieds, its about 100-200 depending on what tranny is it and the condition

 

yea the shifter does move when i give it gas

 

then you will need tranny and motor mounts, or motor mount inserts.
