Default Car Rev's by itself to REDLINE

Hey guys, Hyaundai Elantra is the culpret. In neutral it will rev itself, with no gas applied, all the way to redline, had to cut the engine. In gear, you can feel it pulling even though your not on the gas.

What do you think? throttle body broken? electronics malfunction?

Either you have a vacuum leak or the throttle plate is not closing.

DOGGINATOR is right, check your vaccum lines, check your throttle cable. Disconnect your intake and check your throttle plate, you might have something stuck in there...If it's still doing it, check the little screw thing on your Throttlebody called the throttle adjuster, and turn it counter clockwise. Yes lefty lucy...enjoy!

Its lefty LOOSEY, as in righty TIGHTY....

Anyway, this happened to me once as well, turned out i had a broken barbed fitting on one of my throttle runners. Im assuming this is a drive by wire setup?

Sounds to me like a unplugged vacum hose onto the TB/IM or the TB plate is being held open somehow. Take off the TB and clean all the **** out with some carb cleaner and try it again. Also check the position of your throttle cable
