88mph = 15.9 78mph = 15.6??
ok heres the deal, i got a bad launch on my first run at the track, i ran a 15.9 at 88 mph, the next time i got a good launch except i couldnt get my car into 4th gear at the last second and found myself coasting past the finish line in neutral.. and my time was a 15.6 at 78mph, i was wondering what my time would have been if i could have kept that 88 mph the second time. ?

think of it this way: it takes your car 1000 tire rotations to get you from starting line to finish line. If you spin more off the line you just used up more of the 1000 spins so instead of 1000 spins at end of the 1/4 you have 1020 so by the time you get to the 77MPH speed your car accelerates faster than it would at 88MPH ... this is how any track measures trap at end of track.

it doesnt work like that, a worse 60' will always give more trap because you will accellerate faster at the end of the 1/4.
