My Motor Bent 4 Exhaust Valves! Block Still good?

Default My Motor Bent 4 Exhaust Valves! Block Still good?

Well my buddy did this to his motor actually (99GSR)

4 of the exhaust valves are bent, and i need the bottom block.. Do you think that the block is still good?

Look at the Pistons, if it looks normal then it should still be good.

But before you use the block, It will be a VERY GOOD idea to replace the BEARINGS before you use it.

Because the valve are bent from piston and valve contact, that FORCE also travels down to the BEARINGS. It's either off spec or on the edge.

are you sure? I think his bearings would be fine, i've bent valves several times and most the time, there maybe marks on the pistons but block works fine.

Every power stroke is force downwards to the bearings, and nothing ever happens. Detonation is force downwards when the motion of the piston and rod is upwards, yet nothing ever happens to bearings.

I think the bearings are fine.
