just put a new headgasket on my b16a, and everytime i try to rev it, it stubbles and pretty much dies. if i ease on the thottle, it'll rise to about 4500 then stubble and die. i'm thinking maybe it could be a vaccum line in the wrong place or maybe a problem with my fuel system (due to the fact that the gas is a little old and i'm running a untuned motor with ctr pistons). i do have a dancing light show gauge, ie fuel ratio gauge, and everytime it stubbles, it falls down way passed lean. any ideas?

 

oh yeah forgot to add that the engine idles find, it just happens when you give it some gas

you may want to recheck your timing, and sensors plugs, did you switch any plugs around after reassembly? just a few thoughts

 

yeah actually i found my problem, lol, when i put the head back on, i put the map sensor plug on the tps sensor and vice versa. was wondering why my apexi controller was causing the car to throw a cel.
