Default cat back exhuast making rear end vibrate HARD

mostly when i stick it in reverse my rear deck vibrates hard i leave it in reverse with the hand brake up i go out ot look at the pipe and i can see its shasking and bivrating making the whole car shake... but why is it only in reverse when im in drive its fine...

also i only have a flex pipe in the front before the cat.... i know i had a stock one after the resonator but the guy who did my cat abck said just to run a straight pipe no need for a second flex pipe in rear middle of the car..could this be why
any ideas at all ?

Did they use soft rubber mounts or the harder plastic looking mounts? If the stock mounts are in there the exhaust shouldn't be the problem.
I would have kept the second flex too just to get rid of extra vibration.

I've got the same problems with my gf's 96 ex with a magnaflow. We had to shorten the piping to stop the vibrating.

We had to shorten the cat-back piping. The problem was that once we installed the new header and cat, the combination pushed the cat-back too far back towards the rear of the car. So the shop took an 1in off the cat-back piping.

As in welded directally to the bottom of the car???? That's your vibration right there. Stock exhaust has rubber hangers that isolate the vibration from the exhaust.
