Default sounds like abs is going off all the time

Wassup guys i was just wondering if anyone else was having their abs go off at start up and on regular stops. (i.e. stop lights, traffic) I have a 94 civic and i always hear the abs go off. Anyone know how to fix this?

does the pedal drop then rise real quick. sounds like the valve body is losing pressure, once the pressure is low inside the cylinder the pump will kick on to reset the piston in the cylinder. if it happens at lights and stuff, like RIght before you come to a stop and the pedal kicks a little you most likely have a tone ring on your axle or rear hub thats got a damaged spot.

yeah, if it does it right before a stop then you got a tone ring thats dented or has built up rust on it. MOST likely cause, there are others.

i wouldnt say that. you can look at the rings on the axles, if there are any gouges on them or dents its going to cause the problem. there are other things that will cause it but thats the most likely. also, im not sure if you can just buy the tone rings, but at my shop we can get them, we just swap them from one axle to the other.
