Ive got a D16y7 98 civic DX coupe. Im looking to eliminate the speed limiter. what are my options?

 

why do you need to get rid of it?its there for a reason.

 

Start finish line at Roebling Road 4th or 5th gear it cuts at 123mph. Id say its hindering my ability to break the FSP record i set last year. Its a 1:27.7xx


i didnt ask a question to be asked questions, just want to know what i can do. if i wanted to play games i wouldnt be on here

 

who there sparky calm down. if your sucha big car person that dosent play games then you would know how to do this on your own. there are a couple of ways to do it. but you would most likely be looking at soime sort of chip, or stand alone.

 

Convert to obd1 and get it chipped. Talk to drdisco69 on here, he'll hook you up.
