Default Where To Buy OEM Honda Window Wind Diffusers? And My New Mats :-)

Im after a set of original Honda wind diffusers for my JDM siR. Ive found some on ebay, but they are near to £100 ($170)!!!

Has anyone seen any elsewhere for cheaper?

Id really appreciate any help on this subject.

And here are my new CRX mats for my siR. I only purchased these as i didn't have the OEM drivers side mat, but i think they're pretty cool!

You can't go to the dealer and buy them because they are discontinued.

Do you have anymore pictures of those 4dr visors!?

How in the world did you get them to mount underneath the chrome?

Here's a pic of my OEM visors...as you can see, the only way I could get mine to mount was to peel off the chrome where the visor would sit, and then the visor mounted with double sided tape where the chrome once sat.

I like the way yours is mounted.......MUCH cleaner! Will you elaborate on your install?

Jonathan is a great name

Well, from what I can gather so far there are two different types of the 4dr visors.

Looks like the guy you posted pictures of has the USDM/Canadian visors; they clip on UNDER the chrome and leave all the chrome window moldings in tact. Absolutely impossible to find!

I've got the JDM/EDM visors which don't have those provisions....I sure wish they did because I think it looks 100x better with the chrome exposed!

There are 3 types of those window wind diffusers. There are the ones for the Canadian CRXs. There are the ones with no power windows that will work with all USDM and non power window VTi SiR CRXs, and then there is the ones for power windows. Ive been searching for a set for my SiR for a while too, but we are talking hundreds of Canadian dollars or atleast $160US which is insane for about $3 worth of plastic.

Power folding mirror ones are different, not just power mirrors.

I bought a set of these window wind diffusors for my CRX a long time ago from Japan. I never tried fitting them until a couple of days ago. The problem was that they extended too far back and hit the plastic "thing" at the rear of door running vertically (I believe it´s called a door sash ?). My car is a european model that came stock with power windows.
Do you know which model my diffusors were made for ? Is it possible to exchange the door sash with a smaller one to make it fit ?

Also the diffusor did not extend all the way to the door mirror although that´s not a problem for fitting it. My car came stock with electric mirrors although they are not of the folding variety.

yep.. the doors are exactly the same as a crx.. just varies on year/make i know 88 all models have seat belt mounted on frame as well as 89 HF only.. then 89-91 has door mounted seatbelts resulting in a smaller glass. just tell him if your seat belt mounts on the door or not should be getting mine in a week or so
