Default lag??

How much lag is there in a boosted LS, say at 15psi with a good tune. And what hp and tq # could I expect?

oops sorry, in a crx, i don't really know much about turbo setups, sorry if its a question thats been answered over and over, but im still resaerching, but like on mainly stock internals, how much psi can i run safley, and is there a lot of lag with the turbo setups with the ls motors, bc i heard there was alot with gsr engines?

its not that its overly repeated but it makes no sence, you dont talk about what turbo or anything...that is what makes lag is the size of the turbo, and a gsr engine doesnt lag the worst

The lag is going to be a result of the turbo size to the engine size ratio. A bigger turbo on the same size engine is going to be laggier than a small turbo (with similar specs). But then there are other things that make a difference, such as how the turbo is made or how the fins are shaped. Research keywords like "dual ball bearing" or "A/R ratio" for ways to decrease lag.

Your always going to have some amount of lag, thats just the way it is. Even the smallest turbo still takes a second to kickin. A GSR motor is goint to be laggier than say an H22, but only because its a smaller engine so its pushing less against the turbo at the same RPM. However it will be better than say a D series. The key is to balance between the engine you have the torque curve you'd like and the turbo's available.
