Default GSR Shifter in an EK?

I can get a good deal on a gsr shifter(just the lever), will this fit in my 97 civic and will it improve my shifts in any ways? How hard will it be to swap the gsr shifter on my civic?

if its a short shifter it will , i dont think a stock gsr shifter will do much for you.

I think all B-series shifters are the interchangeable, right?

I dont' think it's the same, not positive, either way, I know it won't there's not much of a diff, you're better off just getting a short throw shifter

i have a dual bend b&m shifter made for a gsr in my d series tranny. sits maybe a half an inch forward because the shift linkage is a different length. but works like a charm. 15 minute install.

the shifter wont work because the part where the shifter bolts to the linkage is too wide...so...get one for an ek
