i wouldnt advise reving higher on a ls engine in its stock form. and reving higher wont giver you anymore power....you power already cuts off at arounf 63-6500rpms

you get hondata, crome, uberdata, or neptune chipped into your ecu.

These guys pretty much already summed it up. Since it sounds like your car is stock, the stock ECU is the best. IF you end up going turbo, you will end up "chipping" your ECU, which means that you replace the stock computer chip with an EEPROM chip that you program with new air fuel and timing maps to work with the turbo.

In the mean time, if you buy an intake or exhaust system, your best bet is to reset your ECU by pulling the ECU fuse for about 5 minutes, then replace it. Start up your car and let it idle for a few minutes, then take it for a cruise and your ECU will adjust itself.

depending on where you want your powerband....if your gunna go turbo then stick with your stock ecu. then use crome, urberdata, hondata ect.....if you wanna stick NA and slap a vtec head on there..then chipped p28 with hondata would be my choice.....
