while shifting at 7k+ (7.5 rev limit) shifter gets stuck
GSR tranny
as stated in title, it gets stuck and i have to wait for the RPM to come down to about 6.5 or less in order to kinda squeeze it in.... this happens for all gears.. . 1-2-3+ it's jammed basically and it won't get out of gear... and of course, I'm not going to try and muscle it out... haha any ideas?

Nope, everything is fine, it just gets stuck. O_o? Most times it'll get stuck, sometimes it'll be hard to get out (basically forced out), and sometimes rarely it won't be stuck...
could be a matter of things, can be the fluid, check that but mainly its within ur tranny, i had that problem, it was my pressure plate, the pins around it were lose, had to get a new one, hopefully its not internal tranny problems

it's just 1st gear mainly and sometimes 3rd. i tried 2nd today and it was fine. 3rd i noticed that if i step on the clutch as far down as possible, it might go in easier. haven't had a chance to really test 3rd gear out, but just throwing the idea up so someone might recognize anything. so yea.
not fluids, just put in new syncromesh. loose pressure plate bolts would make all gears have problems right? this sucks. can't shift. =-(
drove it when it was colder this morning... didn't seem to have a problem.. but i did shift at like 7.5 ish... so... not a sure test.. no suggestions?
Hey man, I am having the same problem. The clutch feels as though something is blocking it and won't go in gear unless forced. I recently went to INLINE PRO MOTORSPORTS which is in Virginia. Also had my tech guy look at it. And the pressure plate is going bad, that or the master cyclinder is not providing enough pressure to engage the clutch. I bought a clutch kit from inline pro which is a stage 2 and also has the fly wheel. On Friday the 7/14/2006 the clutch, pressure plate and fly wheel will be installed I will let you know
i have a semi-new clutch and pressure plate so that's not the problem. I'd suppose it could be the master cylinder... but good thing is i just tried it again on a cold-er run and for once it shifted smoothly from 1st to 2nd. Hopefully it keeps up and it repairs itself. lol
