Default 98dx

I have a 09 dx coupe and my check engine light came on. it was back firing and had no power at all. i had then found out my timing belt had skipped. so i rotated the distributor . and it ran better. so i replaced the timing belt along with all the rest. new spark plugs and wires. it runs very well now but the check engine light is still on. its not so much a bother, mainly at night haha.. any solutions to get rid of it??

Did ya ever disconnect the battery when you did all that stuff to your car? If not, disconnect the battery for a few mins. and then reconnect it. See if the check engine light goes away.
