Default compression vs power

is milling the head or deck to gain compression say from 8.8 to 10 to 1 going to actually gain anything other then more expenisve fillups? 5% 10 % loss of top end revs? more low end torque? after doin test to make sure your valves arent gonna touch your pistons that you have a head gasket rated for it ( is felpro safe to use?) and whats roughly the max compression you can safely run with 91 octane?

to bump up that much it is not recommended that you raise compression in that manner. un less its a bs motor that you dont care aboutand want to use as a paper weight in a couple months.

when ur all motor, the compression matters. the top end cams, like stage 2 skunk2s and todas spec bs and up require alot of compression. when its all motor, the compression and displacement matters, the higher the compression, the more power. same with turbo, at high boost, its just like a high compression motor.
