vtec works when i rev it for a sec.then it starts bogging.dont kknow what else to do?car boggs at like 3000 rpm. no engine light no codes.i have a p28 chipped ecu.what else could it be?????????????????

 

have you checked your oil level or selanoid or timing? whats the last thing you did to the car

 

the last thing i did was the o2 sensor because i never had the exhaust done

 

clogged solenoid

 

i have cleaned the screen on soliold

 

check ur connections and ground...excessive vibration when "popping" vtec may be causing this

 

would the secondery on a gsr intake make it do this

 

how can i check the solenoid to see if im getting a problem from there

 

it could be that you are running a p28 ecu and the gsr has IAB sensor on the manifold. the butterflies arent opening so vtec is bogging out. what chip is in the ecu? if you dont wanna run the gsr manifold, just get a skunk, blox, or aebs. that will eliminate the IAB

 

i have a spoon chip is there a way to wire the aib sensor to open

 

just unplug the iab sensor. the chipped p28 will not recognize the iab's anyway. when your car is off the iab's are open. as soon as you turn the key on it closes. there are some people who use zip ties to leave them open. i have the same set-up and i just swapped in a skunk2 mani... it was worth it.

 

i dont think that the iab wire is hook up but car is bogging
