Default Whats the best BOV?

my buddy had a horrible boost leak in his stock DSM bov, and i let him borrow my used greddy type s and he wants to buy it for $200 bucks. I will need a new one tho. what is probably the BEST? and what is a good one for CHEAP? i need one that can hook up to a flange

no, the tial will not fit your current flange.

you say you had a greddy type-s, i believe it will fit a vortech bov, which is the one i have for sale. can anybody confirm this?

im selling it real cheap. give me a PM if your interested.

Had type-s, loved it. getting 200 for it is a good sell.

i think Tial is one of the best performance BOVs

The Greddy S is the first one and only one ive used because of its high pitched sound, most commonly used BOV too.

i was debating between this bov or the type-s but the rs is more of a wide sound like a truck hitting his brakes.

the RFL is definately the loudest but heard some things about the bov leaking boost.

You would have to go with the Type RS, they discontinued the Type S because they were having problems with the diaphragm. I just got mine today. I guess they are the same thing as the Type S pretty much, just re-designed.

I have a Tial 50mm, it has a nice sound and I'd recommend it to anybody. I think it's more quiet than most bov's on the market though. The only thing I don't like about the Tial bov is finding the right spring for a certain vacuum range on your car (there's no hard/soft adjustment like in the Greddy bov), but that's not that big of a deal.

A friend of mine has the Greddy Type RS one and it has a similar sound as the Tial with no leak issues, and you can also make adjustments with it too.

tial is one of the best performance ones, but i also like my blitz supersound, no leaks even at 18 psi, and it sounds nice...
