Default what is the best BOV?

Like the topic says...what is the best blow off valve & style to fit a 1g DSM bov flange...

post it up...pics...

Money is not an issue for me...I need to replace my 1g DSM bov....

I found this.....GREDDY TYPE RS BOV.....how would you guys rank this one from 1-10?

For me it gets a 7 for looks and 8 for what I heard how it performs.

Do you guys have any other BOVs in mind.

well.. i work on cars a lot of DSM'ers they worked with some magazine and did a test... the Stock DSM bov actuwaly is the most affective. if u need more boost u crunch the top. it released the presure and rebound the best....... BUT i use a Greddy-type s. the tested almost all on the market.... i for got the rest.. i know 2 things... DSM was on top.. and blitz didn't place

the best replacement for a dsm 1gen, is a crushed dsm1 gen. honestly, for the money they cost, it would be silly not to buy it. my other choice would be greddy type s

either the HKS SSQV Bov or the Greddy Type S. Both will do you justice. I have the HKS SSQV. I like it alot but I'm sure I would have loved it even if it was the Greddy Type S.

HKS SSQV... just get the universal one with the steel flange and weld it onto a pipe. It will work as well and you dont have to worry about stuff fitting.

I have a Greddy Type S and honest, that thing got so annoying after a month or so. I mean its a great sound, but not everytime i shift you know.

Im thinking of switching to the HKS SS because i heard it and its more of a woosshhh sound over a psttt sound.

Should this be in the FI forum?

What levels of boost are you running, some bovs used are dependant on that, it would probably be easier to recommend one.
