Default No pressure in my brakes?!

Ok, heres the deal. I installed my front brakes ( 94 Integra ) in my 97 civic hatch. Everything went in fine, but I went to install my rear brakes this weekend. When I installed them, it was pretty straight forward, and I got the proportioning valve from what I'm told was a 99 civic si. Well after I installed everything, there were a few small leaks, so I tightened all the lines up and thought I had everything ok. Well the front left line broke ( goodridge steel braided line ). So I went out and bought a line, because I need my car ( daily driver ). I bought 2 soft lines. I installed them, but there was almost no brake pressure when we started the car up. I had pressure when we bled the brakes, but after start up, the peddel drops to the floor. While driving on the of the soft lines snapped and i replaced that with the good steel braided one. But again there is still no brake pressure. I don't know what it could be. I need help asap!!! Thanks

sounds like you have a leak somewhere and that the brakes could've been bled improperly

check the seal on the cap of the brake master cylinder might be bad and might not have any pressure to build up

<TABLE WIDTH="90%" CELLSPACING=0 CELLPADDING=0 ALIGN=CENTER><TR><TD>Quote, originally posted by BALLIN H22 EK &raquo;</TD></TR><TR><TD CLASS="quote">check the seal on the cap of the brake master cylinder might be bad and might not have any pressure to build up</TD></TR></TABLE>

wrong , you can run without the cap and still have pressure, the cap just keeps the fluid in the resivoir, the pressure is in the internal cylinder
