I am in the process of buying a ZC/Y8 mini me off of my friend. The short block has 53,000 miles on it while the head has 72,000 miles on it...I would like to have around 200+ wheel hp with boost. The motor is going into a 98 EX' so I need to stay OBD2 for inspections... But I also hear the single cam ZC/Y8 head combo will have higher compression, and also that the block is weak for boost..??...Will this be a good set up for a boost if I use a thicker head gasket and ARP head studs to keep the motor from grenading??? How much boost can I run safely on a good tune???Or am I just wasting money and time??I have been searching and reading for like an hour now lol...But would really like to get some clear responses....Thanks for the time...
