Default dumb ecu Q

the computer under the floor on the passenger side is the ecu right or no just wondering no real problem thanks i know duh duh duh lol thanks

lol thanks killeraccord well heres another one whats the code name for the ecu in a 90 accord my info is in my sig like i hear p06 and stuff like that thanks

You probably have two computers, ecu and tcu. Sorry, don't know what the code name is.

yes it is a pT3...the p05 and p06 is the chipped ecu's that they put in the 4th gen. accordsb/c i dont believe you can chip the pT3

i think u need a conversion harness....but you are jus putting it in on a stock car?

If you chip an ecu get a p06. And it will plug right in with a proper basemap. But there's no need to do it if you don't need any tuning. Why spend money when you don't need to?

your right...why spend the money 4 an ecu on a stock car...but see i have a 92 accord and will be boostin really soon...only a couple things stoppin me 1 being i need that p05 or p06 ecu...know were i can get 1?

Don't get a P05. Get a P06, or you will wish you did later. You can buy them on ebay. A lot of people also sell them pre-chipped on pgmfi.org and other forums. If you are boosting you will need injectors and a MAP sensor in addition to an ECU.
