The weirdest thing happened to me. I have a 91 crx with b16 head, gsr block obd0 wiring. I was driving around and all of a sudden my battery lights goes on.. I'm like, ok, ill go home, try to get home on all battery(yellow top) cause i wasnt to far away. Before i go home, i heard a loose bolt. Previously, my break calaber bolt has bad threading so i figured it was that. Before i get home, my car just shuts off. I was at like 3000-3500 rpms and the car just dies, its was like a rev.....then dunnnnnnnnnnnn, like it ran out of power. I popped the hood, and i see my alternator pulley, alternator, but no underdrive pulley. It was stock, not the lighten one. I was like, wtf, where did it go. So i get the car towed to my house, i had a spare pulley, slapped it on, looked around to see if any wires or grounds could have came loose with the hardware dropping. Everything looked ok. I took my sisters battery out of her car(97 integra) because i was hesitant about trying to boost the yellow top. The battery was fully charged. I tried to start the car and the car would only crank but not turn over. I thought for ***** and giggles, its the starter, changed it with a spare, nothing, same thing. Try to push start it. Nothing. Then i deside to check distributer. NO SPARK. How can the dizzy go bad by a alternator pulley comming off. The distributer has MAYBE 1,000 miles on it. I got it from distributer king. Am i checking the dizzy wrong? A relay go bad (cant be main, checked it). Im soo lost and its pretty much my dailly driver. I just bought a 90 integra rs for now for like $200 so thats my beater now. Any suggestions would be well appreciated.
