I had a leak in the top of the vtec solenoid so i ordered the gasket for it, however i started the install and the gasket they sent me was an o-ring gasket with no filter. The one that is leaking is a gasket and a filter similar to the main gasket found at the bottem where the solenoid bolts to the head. Does anyone know where i can get this gasket because the one i orderd has no filter...

The solenoid gasket, not the spool valve gasket?

Looks like the solenoid gasket is paper. The spool valve gasket is rubber, it goes between the head and the spool valve. The other gasket goes between the solenoid and the spool valve.

Both gaskets are rubber O-Ring types, and some of the ones do not come with a filter, thats just the way it is

 

well the one i orderd fits but if i put on the new one with no filter is it going to make any difference in performance or hurt it in anyway?

It should be items 12 or 14 in this diagram.

 

I but the new gasket in and its not even big enought to fill the gap where the oring fits.... im thinking i got the wrong solenoid gasket boys...
