i'm wanting to replace my usdm d16z6 with a jdm d16z6 exhaust manifold just because its a larger opening 48 compared the usdm size 38, for turbo purposes..But my question is the guys said on the descriptions he says "You will need to already have the 2-1 down pipe to make this work" could someone explain please what he means..i have a greddy evo2 3 piece direct blot on catback with bolt on magnaflow cat, stock headers..thanx alot

 

You're doing this for "turbo purposes" and your running a header? Something is very wrong here.

yea, you dont know what your talking about.

youll need a turbo mani, which the turbo bolts too, and from there a down pipe to the cat back or cat/test pipe

unless your doing a DIY top mount, which i dont think your doing

 

ohh and hes prolly talking about a 4-2-1 set up. Where the the 4 head pipes come together into to 2 pipes and then into one before the flange
