Exactly..B16b has higher deckheight than the b16a/b17a..Its a destroked b18c like said..

You can't just swap over parts and have a B16B. Read the above two replies. You want a B16B? Go buy one. Just don't expect to be very impressed.

You can't turn a B16a into a B16B. You can put the B16B pistons and valvtrain in your B16a and thats the closest you will get, but still not the same as a B16B.

</TD></TR></TABLE> its not that hard, however i dont know why you'd want to.with the money youd spend doing that you could get some real power out of some aftermarket parts. but any way youd most of this stuff
-CTR valvetrain
-CTR cams
-CTR or ITR header
-take off 1-2 layers off HG (CTR pistons yield 12:1 cr)
-CTR intake mani (really pricey IF you can even find one)
-CTR intake box
-some sort of exhaust upgrade
that would be about the closest you could get
however with the money you blow on that you could get some buddy club 3+ cams, ITR header, Blox intake mani, KTeller exhaust, and make tons more power. just my .02

get a h22 with type s piston and cams u will run low 13 all motor

serious if your going all motor go sell your b16 and get the h22. think of the torqe gain. plus the instant hp gain thats more then your mini ctr conversion. and probibly leave some money for your slicks. i got the b16 and if i had more money i would deffinitly upgrade to the b18 or h22. b16 is sweet and all but unless your going turbo i would definatly jump to a different engine. i personally went the boost route.
