Its automatic Use honda trans fluid very, very important its special now to fill pull the yellow handle dipstick and fill through their the dip stick is in the passenger side write in front of the battery down some times that dip stick rubber wears down so if its loose buy another one at honda is about $15 if not wrap some black electrical tape around it nice and tight then check the fit if its to tight remove some of the tape, now how much fluid if its totally empty it use almost 11 quarts if you just pulled the 3/8 plug it will take possible 4 t0 6 quart's I recommend put 4 quarts turn on car put in drive move it 5 feet go back in reverse move it 5 feet turn off car check fluid level good luck.

np, just get a long enough funnel, lol. i did about 2.5gt frist, ran through gears slowly. let it warm up, then turn off the car and immediately check teh dip stick [same method as oil] and added accordingly to a tad below the max line.
