Opinions on a difficult third gear
hey everyone, just curious if anyone could help me figure out what i did to my gsr tranny. my clutch broke and i forced it hard into third gear to get home. replaced the clutch and third gear is hard to get into on and off. it'll fix its self after a few days, but will be really difficult once in a while. does not grind. synchromesh helped for a while. but has gotten bad lately. what do u think i bent? shift fork? shifter assembly? appreciate it if u can help. thanks

Sounds like you bent a fork.If you've driven it that way for a while it will get worst,and will usually start popping out of gear.

Shift fork is around $60 and gear set is about $170.The rest is labor.
