Toda, portflow, etc etc. Why do you even want to rev that high?

 

no specific reason, i just like it. If I change my valve springs, can i be able to rev higher, or do i have to change retainers, etc.

 

I would suggest doing BOTH.

 

You need to rechip the stock ECU or buying a aftermarket one like Mugen or Spoon. The best way would be a programmable one like Hondata, Haltech, etc. Otherwise you can not rev higher, cause it is limited to 8400rpm by the electronik.

Stronger valvesprings and titan retainers when you like to rev often to 9000rpm IMO. But my tuner told me, that the stock valvestuff and the rods are okay for 9000rpms. But I prefer the sfe side.

RPM = Ruins Peoples Motors. It's only useful when you can maintain the power output....
