d16w/vtec swap will not start and dont know what else to do. PLEASE HELP!!!!!!
OK heres the deal..swapped in a d16 in my 90hatch. The donor car was wrecked but, a running 94. I bought the entire car. And had been sitting for about 3 months or so. I sent the harness' from each car to Hasport to be made for my conversion. I got the ecu adapter from locash racing (the one Hasport recomends to work on their harness), and using the donor cars p28. So, this was supposed to be painless as possible.
I got it all hooked up and ready to go.. nothing but crank is all it would do. So, I checked all my connections, grounds and so on, pulled a plug and verified spark. The plugs are getting fuel. Made sure timing was right on and, it was. Checked the valve clearance..all was right on except one of the valves, intake side, on the #4 cyl was to tight. Reset that valve. Changed the plugs, cap & rotor. Checked the resistance on wires they are OK and, now it is hitting but, still not starting. Changed the coil due to possible low primary voltage (secondary voltage was within spec). Helped but, still nothing. Moved the dizzy forward and back several times to see if that would help and you guessed it, same thing. I dont know what else to do.
Please help!!

OK got it starting and idleing...disconected wire inside the plug for the TDC sensor was the problem.
No check engine light or anything. Idles perfect. Revs up like it should to about 1600 RPM and then, sounds like you are rapidly flooring the gas pedal over and over again, any suggestions, Vacuum? TPS?
Thanks in advance.
