How do you change the manual transmission fluid?!
Ive been looking everywhere and cant seem to find how to do this! The lube shop said they would charge me $90 to do it but I think ill save myself a lot of money doing it by myself.
Any help is appreciated.

DO NOT PAY $90 FOR THAT ****!
Assuming you know how to work on cars just a little bit, its not that difficult. Check out this thread https://honda-tech.com/zerothread?id=382416, its a thread how to change axles, but read through it and it will show you an easy way how to change the tranny fluid. Step #3 shows you how to drain it and the last part shows how to fill it. Good luck!

there is a nut that you will need to stick a rachet in to loosen and drain the fluid, and there is also a fill nut you will also need to loosen, i dont have the pics of it, but i just did my trannd fuid its hella easy bro its kinda like changing oil but no filter
i would say if you are facing the engine its in the bottom left corner all the nuts and stuff, you can see it pretty easy from under the car

take a 3/8 ratchet and undo the lower drain plug on the trans its on the passenger side. let the oil drain out. put drain back in. above that you will see a fill plug take that out with a 1/2'' ratchet. then fill her up. your gonna need some type of rig job to get the oil through the little hole. i use a "soap pump" type of device that attaches to the qt of oil then attach a straw to that. or u can just take out the vehicle speed sensor and fill easer from there.

I can tell you how to add/fill it, but I'm not sure about draining. Look underneat your car for a drain somewhere on the tranny. Usually the fill hole/plus is on the passenger's side of the car towards the bottom and looks somewhat like a oil drain plug. You'll need a funnel and good flashlight...
I did this on my cable d-series, so you setup might be different due to this. Check a haynes manual maybe?

just grap a long tube from a hardware or auto store and run it into the fill hole. thats what did on my old 89 dx hatch. (make a mini beer bong!! ^_^)
no one in here said to not lift up the car. im pretty sure if you lift it you wont get all of the fluid out. if you have trouble getting to the drain plug, lift the car, loosen the plug, then set it down while draining. you might have to lift again to tighten the drain plug, but make sure the wheels are back on the ground when you fill it.
im a noob to cars, but ive done this before and im sure im right about it
also, anyone here know of any good manual trans fluid i can get thats better than the honda stuff??

Somebody can correct me if I'm wrong, but I think the Honda MTF is probably the best you cant get. It's OEM SON!

well i was looking around the forums for trans fluids, and someone said they like using the mtf from AMSOIL. the page says its ment to replace oem fluids, like the honda mtf. look here : http://www.amsoil.com/StoreFront/mtf.aspx
i think i might try it out after some research.
does anyone know what stores carry amsoil? i havent seen it in the autoshops around here.
if i was gonna use the honda stuff, id have to get it from the dealership? anyone know how much it costs?

AutoZone also sells funnels that have a long tube attached to them. I use that and fill it up from top side thru the engine bay.. worked out real easily.
Honda MTF
Last time I changed mine I used a hand pump like this one... http://www.amsoil.com/storefront/g2039.aspx was done in 5 minutes, easier than removing the VSS. The one I used fit onto a washer fluid bottle...
Don't overfill the tranny either, the fluid can "froth" if overfilled (that's what causes it to leak out of the seals).
