Default Is a V-afcII Vtec controller a wast?

Ok help me out here. To start off I have a SHOC D16y6 motor AEM CAM and pulleys, DC headers and full catback, AEM CAI and SRI and a full AEM fuel system geting ready to be installed. If you going to ask about the SRI and CAI i bought a y pipe and put them togeather. Now to my question. would a V-AFCII Vtec controller do any good to my car? I have one siting here sinch chrismas and i dont know what to do with it. But will help to put it in.

Im thinking of selling it for about 250 or 275 but there is realy noting ells i want for my car.

Get rid of that and your pulleys. And are you sure you don't have a D16A6, Y6 doesn't exist. What year and make is your car, we'll put it that way.

Honestly, VAFCII isn't going to do you any good with what you have, that and I don't even think you have VTEC. As for your pulleys, the 2hp gained by them is putting a lot of unneccessary wear on your car, I'd put your stock ones back on which have the harmonic balancers that you want.

SRI and CAI? Pick one will ya, you're negating the effect of a CAI with the SRI and the effect of an SRI with a CAI...

Not likely with his setup. Changing VTEC engagement for him won't do him much good, and the ability to change A/F ratio's is limited. Waste of your time.
