Default alright alright I made up my mind...

So for the last year....I've been saving and debating on what I should get....Turbo or supercharger.....so I've finally made up my mind and I'm gona go with the JRSC....but I just need to know....what am I gonna need to go with this supercharger....I'm buying the thing straight from Jackson Racing's website but I'm pretty sure that I"m not gonna be able to do a direct bolt on....what else am I gonna need?

i think most of the stuff comes from JR. minus the exhaust and such. best bet would be to check out ephatch.com

Yeah, pretty sure it's a direct bolt on... Are you going with the race kit or the street kit? The only thing I see people buying from a casual observation is extra belts, as you tend to go through them. If you already have an exhaust, I don't think there's much else, except maybe now go to synthetic with the higher temps... k-pro tuning, laptop... I think you can theoretically just buy the kit, and have a working car... albeit a tune and some amenities at the same time would help.

Alright cool thanks guys....I already have the Skunk2 exhaust on it's way so after that....I guess i'll be ready for the supercharger...I'm going with the street kit to answer your question and soon after....I'll get the k-pro...thanks again..

the SC is gonna suck... you won't make full boost until max rpm... whereas turbo will start making full boost by 3K rpm...

Yeah, I know, but my EP is gonna be my daily driver so I think it'll be the safest route compared to turbo

have you driven an sc rsx/si? The linear powerband is extremely nice and considering there is a bypass you stay out of boost 95% of the time , therefore saving on gas. The SC is great for people who want reliability and conveinence for a daily driver. If you want POWER, than there is no compromise to a turbo.

I guarantee you won't regret the SC if you understand the above.

Incorrect! You are confusing a centrifugal supercharger with a roots supercharger. The JRSC is a roots style positive displacement supercharger and will make max boost well before redline. The centrifugal will not, but that is not what we are talking about here.

dont get the STREET kit,..everyone hates it on ephatch. it doesnt make anything close to what people thought they'd get outta it. like 180-190whp,...race kit equals 230ish.
