cant seem to pass smog test only


15mph the NO are pretty high 2500 and the HC are at 180

25mph everything passes! my teacher and the state ref at my skool said the car wasnt worm enough but then i took it back driving hard double clutch full throlle shifts and still the same thing I thought it was the caT but NO so What do u guys Think it is???? carbon build UP?/???? shud i put rubbing alchol in my car i heard it workS?

 

wtf rubbing alcohol??? uh... no. but i'm not sure what you can do but to bolt up the simple stock bolt ons.

 

quite a bit of people on ht ran seafoam before taking the test and it pass super easily.

 

stock bolt ons! its cuzz i was running turbo on FMu for sure it was running rich and i think it has build Up! some guy in my auto tech class said the start ref recomended him doing this full tank 91 and 90%rubbing achol in the gas tank! He said it clean everything rite Up and it got betteer gas mileage!

you can buy seafoam at autozone, remember to buy the red one

 

don't use rubbing alcohol, it won't work.

if you have a source for ethanol or methanol use that instead. if not go to home depot and pick up a gallon of "denatured alcohol". run your tank to almost empty and pour the whole gallon in. if detonation occurs devance the timing 2 degrees, it probably won't occure with a stock motor and bolt-ons.

i passed smog easily with a b20 and gutted cat using denatured alcohol.
